parsley
I've had good luck growing Italian (flat leaf) parsley in our yard. It's so nice to be able to step outside my door and snip a few leaves to brighten a dish - the flat leaf variety is so tasty and not just a decoration like the curly type.
Last year's plant has survived and gotten a little out of control with large blooms of flowers. The bees are enjoying it so I'll wait before trimming it back.
