That got rid of the tourists!

So it was a beautiful bright sunny day, almost like summer, until of course I thought about going out and then the skies blackened, the thunder, erm, thundered and lightening flashed and the heavens opened. Luckily it didn't last long and the sun came out again, but this is Edinburgh so of course that didn't last either!

It was Speakeasy night, and I hopped on the bus into town and had a small wander up the Royal Mile before meeting friends for a pre-show beer, it was quite amusing watching all the poor tourists cowering under cover and the few who had booked walking tours following their guide through the rain (snigger). As can be seen from this shot the Mile wasn't that busy considering it was 6pm. :-)
