Cornish Pirate

A long history of privateering in and around the Channel Islands but today we were delighted to welcome back Cornish Pirate Luke Johnson. A Guernsey lad who has joined the Cornish Pirates as a professional rugby player was interviewed by Year 5 & 6 pupils today as part of our Commonwealth Day. The queen's relay baton has arrived on Guernsey this evening and will be carried by 2 lucky Yr 6 pupils tomorrow.
