Uplifting

I had a wonderful bike to work in the sunshine this morning. Despite good intentions, I worked through lunch thinking I would break later in the afternoon to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the suns rays. Alas, by 4:15 just as I thought I could escape the office for a moment, the heavens opened and the rain poured down for a good 30 minutes accompanied by thunder and lightening - quite an unusual occurrence here. So I didn't get out today but I did get home without getting soaked and we did have the most beautiful sunset this evening. Indeed, I went for a walk after dinner and the air was fresh and still and a full moon sat in the sky - an uplifting end to the day.
