Lap top

Herbie's "first laptop" is a bit of a hit at the moment, lots of buttons to push, music and flashing lights. After watching me he discovered a new sliding button on the side, so that kept him amused for some time, until he hit his chin on the bench, due to dancing!!

Going to bed tonight was a bit like hard work. I think he was over tired, or over stimulated as he had been at nursery, acting tired, crying at most things yet running around like mad. Daddy was favourite which as Will pointed out, it's probably because he was just letting him do as he wanted, were as I was putting my foot down and saying it was bed time.

Anyway, asleep by 7.30pm, which seems the norm at the moment. Not sure why it's shifted from 7pm, and mornings are still 5.45-6ish, 6.30 if we are lucky. I am worried that he is not getting enough sleep. I have just put a blanket up at the window to make it totally dark. Will see if that helps.

Special moment

You were playing with your fire engine, tonka truck and I made the sound of a siren, ne naw, ne naw, and you copied me perfectly, it was like a little echo, so excited and so very cute.

Please sleep well tonight little man, your mummy does worry about you so much. X
