South from Black Craig

From Stromness I walked out to Ness Point. There was a pair of red-throated diver there and a few arctic terns. I continued along the shore northward. It was hot when the sun was out and distinctly cooler when it disappeared behind cloud. Mainly sunny, though. It was appreciated by about fifteen common seals hauled out and snoozing in the sun. I wonder if they get sunburn. I went up the hill called Black Craig and saw some arctic skuas. Back by the road to town, stopping to take this before I descended. Lots more here.
