A day's work
I cut the grass first thing before it rained, then went and scrounged a cupful of SAE 140 gear oil from a chap in the village who owns vintage cars.
Drained and cleaned out the gearbox on the Seagull, filled it with 30 grade oil, ran it and then drained it and refilled with the new 140 oil.
Cooked lunch, made a gizmo that goes over the oars in the dinghy to lock them inside, cooked the evening meal, then went out and put the stuff I need to take tomorrow in the garage by the door.
Meanwhile the gov decided all her handbags were either too large or too small, so with a couple of reclaimed zips, a piece of the material we used to make the dinghy cover and some yellow webbing she spent the day making one that is just the right size!
Oh and the men fitted the satellite dish today as well.
