New Kid on the Block

Seeing this takes me back a few years, well 36 years to be precise, and I was doing the same basic moves: He reminds me a little of myself though I was not that skinny. There might just still be a photo of me in the Olympic complex in Munich, just under that spider web roof than spans the stadiums if you remember.
Anyway, it turned out that a National Geographic photographer was walking around looking for a shot. He wanted to shoot me :)))) but the light was disappearing real fast. So going back and forth between the run up and the ramp non stop, he took 3 or 4 shots. Came out really well. Arty and graceful. If my mother still has the photo, then a scan and post on Blip could be in the cards.
