Followed By The Sun

On a clear day, as you fly over a land dotted with water, the sun follows you glinting upwards. Very different to flyin over the permanently sunny desert where you only see what the sun can do, not the hot ball itself.

On a clear day, you call it 'good weather' - I wonder if you can call it 'no weather'. Without any atmosphere, the earth would just be baked by the sun. So, with no cloud, it's the same. Sure, they'll call it 'high pressure' or 'cyclonic' but above tbe clouds it's always sunny, so no clouds is like no weather - open to space.

I think this is the Solway Firth looking like an open vein.
