Always the Sea

Neil

I've spent the last couple of weeks catching up with friend and eating, which has been really lovely, apart from the getting fat bit.
Today was lunch with Neil. He's moved east and it's a testament to my fondness for him that I went that way to meet him. I've lived Norf and Sarf but East is a mysterious place, in my head filled with stereotypes and pylons. It's actually perfectly nice and indistinguishable from the rest of suburban London. Except for this curiosity, which is plonked by the A13 for no apparent reason.
