Deliverance.

How many of you, when travelling the A90 between Dundee and Aberdeen, have been intrigued and tempted by the sign for Temple of Fiddes?
I am here to tell you, via a harrowing experience, that it doesn't exist.
Once you are off the A90 there is not a single sign that tells you the way.
Google Maps ignores it completely....and little wonder. It is a labyrinth of one track roads that appear to have been laid by Scotland's version of those rednecks in 'Deliverance' so that they lead directly into their steadings where they wait, machetes in hand, among the decrepit double decker buses and cars that flounder in their overgrown gardens. On one rusty tin shed a sign read, "Skweel like a piggy, boy!!". An old man spat at the car.....it cracked the windscreen.
Much of the above is true.
