Cold

Today is a colder place than yesterday.

Another friend passed away in the early hours of this morning. Glen was a founding member of Commonground, and spent her life fighting for what she believed in: a just, sustainable and non-violent world. This morning she lost her last battle: cancer.

She was a mentor, battler, counsellor, doula, feminist, activist, and a friend with the patience of a saint.

A real inspiration.

I feel for her family as well as her greater Commonground family.

That's enough now. Time for some happiness.
