Day 17 - Homeward Bound
600 miles from Butte to Seattle - pedal to the metal and about 12. 5 hours later - well I am sitting at my kitchen table this morning, looking at blips of the last 17 days and it feels both an eternity and a nano second. Isn't time and exploring free of normal day to day routines an odd construct - memory, sense of forever and illusion all at the same time.
thanks so much for all the attention, the hearts and such which I can just see easily now on computer. am so glad you all enjoyed it vicariously and i do hope some can make it to that region one day.
we stopped for gas in a broken down poverty stricken town in middle of Washington where someone has an old truck collection. With more energy and better light they could be a photographers paradise.
I never said on trip but my viewfinder does not show sharpness - really frustrating to trust the blur you are looking at will result in clarity. But it does. Nonetheless bet it has to go back to Nikon for a fix. At first I thought my own eyesight was suddenly weird. Actually glad it is the camera. Maybe someone knows what this problem means as I sure don't!
Onwards to the daily search out of the ordinary at home days for photo moments! I learn so much from you all and your choices and compositions - thank so much.
