Anti-biotics

Another course of anti biotics
I am heartily fed up with these so if any one knows how to stop my diverticular flare ups I would love some input.
The anti biotics work but surely there should be some form of prevention as opposed to treating it after it flares up.
Mustn't grumble I suppose
