It always happens....
MOT time and the last thing to check obviously are the fluids. The one thing you don't want to happen is for the radiator cap to explode into pieces when removed! This required a further trip to the wonderful Alan (who runs a brilliant motor factors) for a replacement and a choice of pressures. His books said either 10 or 15lbs pressure whereas mine said early cars 7lbs later 15lbs. However mine did not define early/later so after some amusing discussions it was decided that 10lbs would be alright.
I've had this car since 1986 and rebuilt it once. Although it's 43 years old it is still going well and hopefully will continue to do so for many years to come - only hope I can as well!
