Hovering Bee

The azalea and another large flowering bush abutting the house in our front yard are full of bees and hoverflies right now. Pete is allergic and has an epi-pen just in case but didn't have it on him when we left the house to go shopping and ran into a few stragglers from the bushes. No one got stung, though, and we proceeded on our way, but not before I stopped to get a picture of one of the hovering bees. :)

Thanks everyone for your favs and viewings of Mom and Roxy. They fell hard for each other. Roxy loved the attention and mom loved doling it out. She's 94 now, and this will probably be one of the last times, if not the last, that she is able to travel up to our house, so the day was extra special and poignant for us.
