New Year's Eve of course

And this is my last day in NZ. End of year, end of holidays.
The collage doesn't show the whole day, all the fun we had in the Auckland Museum and it doesn't show how good the company and food were that night.
I can't say I've learnt much about Kiwis, but I had a great time getting to know all things South African: proper braai, mealie bread, mealie meal, potjiekos, samp and beans, JC Le Roux, biltong, ProNutro, musk sweets, even coffee and brandy. All this with running commentary, stories, history and as a bonus some of it in Africaans.
Our party finished before midnight due to a tried child, but we managed to stay up till 12 o'clock to be the second country (after Christmas Islands) greeting 2010.
