Nerves the Night Before

It's the annual Euro-waffle cringe fest that is the Eurovision Song Contest tonight! If you're not a fan, what's wrong with you!? ..And if you are, what's wrong with you. I can't resist it & this evening's instalment in Copenhagen didn't disappoint. It had everything, the contrived & tragic attempts at comedy (which I have to admit I love), the obligatory wooden presenting style, the political voting which is not worth further comment, & an Austrian drag queen with a fuzzy beard winning the night. Simply, wow!

We had a lovely evening with Marlene who has kindly put us up for the night, in preparation for the Leeds Half Marathon, which we have quite insanely entered & will be running in tomorrow morning. We are a little nervous & can't believe it's already here.
