Ashgill Force waterfall

It was another wet day today, but Grace insisted she wanted to go on an adventure and find the waterfall that we didn't get to yesterday. I saw on the map that there was a more direct route from the main road than the path we looked at yesterday, so we went for that. It was a bit of a muddy and slippery scramble down the path but it was worth it, as it’s a lovely spot. We walked behind the main waterfall, which Grace loved, and had a wander down the river a little way. The rain stayed away all the time we were there as well. We all went back to the lodge muddy but happy. As it was our last day we spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub in the rain - actually a very pleasant thing to do!
