HOTEL

Just pottered around at home until it was time to go to Slimming Club. Not many there this week. But 3 new members joined which is good. I lost 2 pounds and was named as Slimmer of the Week. Everyone has to bring a piece of fruit which the Slimmer of the Week gets to take home. I love fruit so I'm a happy bunny.

After the meeting I went to Tesco and before coming home I took my blip shot. It shows the hotel in my village. It was built in 1982 and was originally owned by The Federation Brewery. It has 45 rooms, a couple of bars and a restaurant. The bars are very popular with locals especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Douglas and I used to go there regularly for morning coffee - and a cream scone - and for meals in the restaurant when we were celebrating our birthdays

When I got home I found that Neil was here again. He had left for work around lunchtime and I wasn't expecting him to come back here. He was on the computer all evening until 10pm so I had to wait to get my blip posted.
