Takaya's in Town!

Our favourite Japanese visitor Takaya (actually the only Japanese guy I know but let's not quibble!) is in town so we met up for a wee West End outing - Mather's and L'Escargot Bleu, hard to beat. He's making a point about something or other to S here. Maybe something to do with the quality of the Merlot? Anyway, we had a really nice drink, chat, meal & wander along to the station before leaving him to get back to Kinghorn, ScotRail permitting of course. We rounded off with a small Deuchars aperitif on the way home. Great!

A bit of a shake-up at Tynecastle by the way, some of the changes were expected but others were quite a surprise. Still, it's pudding, proof etc; just so long as we don't start any games next season with no forwards on the park!!
