The Barley Field

Headed out for a walk tonight just to enjoy the evening and get some fresh air.

Didn't have to go too far when I came across this Field of Barley, slowly growing, still green but moving ever so closer to the day when it would be ripened and ready to harvest.

I loved the colours in the green shoots and also the drama in the sky tonight and as I watched the swallows "darting and diving", catching their last meal for the night, I managed to capture this image...
