Guerrilla Knitting

The first time I saw trees and bicycles that had woolen knitted sweaters it was in a town called Veenendaal some two years ago.

Such a strange sight, but logical too as Veenendaal is THE town in Holland that wool comes from.

Now I spotted a few of these trees here in Haarlem and someone told me it's a new rage called Guerrilla Knitting or Yarn Bombing!

In Veenendaal they have special knitting clubs and I visited them once for a project. Seemed the ladies had a lot of fun together, maybe its an idea for other towns to do too.
