Children everywhere

Our house was crazy tdy. Lunchtime onwards the bell just kept going. Children galore came over to do lego, origami, plaiting hair, drawing pictures, dance, play on our new slide, torment the kittens, cause general chaos. At one point there were 14 children and 2 neighbour ladies. The children had loads of fun in our new slide's box- you know how it is- often the packaging is more fun than the actual toy. I can expect a lot more of these afternoons now school is finished- half of me groans, half is happy. I would just love just once or twice to be able to feed the children before 7pm and have them in bed by 9. Where do evenings go?
