white christmas

well, possibly - it didn't snow during daylight in our corner of northumberland, but i suspect it did some point during the night. and it was white all around with sunshine and thus rather pretty.

this isn't the best shot i took today, but it's kinda cool - that's snow lying at high water mark on the beach, not a usual occurence unless it's freeeeezing cold for daysanddays. nice day for a walk tho, not much breeze and not many people around, just how we like it.

gifts, turkey, telly and just the three of us - what more does anyone need on xmas day?
