Pepper tree

The pepper trees have come into fruit, and Cyprus in general is in full bloom at this time of year. Spring is definitely my favourite season in Cyprus. We've just had a week of rain and stormy weather and it has left a beautiful floral scent in the air. The bee-eaters have been around too, and are as joyful to watch as ever (and still far too small and fast for me to take a half decent photo of).

In other news, Lyn is home from hospital after spending a full two months there. She is still quite frail but has made a remarkable recovery and we are all so very happy to see her back at home and making a slow but steady progress.
