Another velvet morning for me

When I was a child I used to say that I had 'velvet head' when it was sore, today I definitely have velvet head after bashing it badly yesterday whilst trying to stake one of our apple trees. With Nick away I turned to the children for a little sympathy only for Murron to say 'At least your head didn't fall off!' Which I guess is one way of making me feel grateful it wasn't any worse.
