Nostalgia Night

A coworker from my time at AEON finished working there last month and this Saturday had her farewell party. When I heard about it, I made sure they knew I wanted to be there, and I was so happy to be at that party. First a nice dinner with a bunch of students, then a few hours of karaoke with ex-students and ex-coworkers. I was really tired on Sunday at work, but couldn't have been happier with that.

We were really like a family at that office. The staff room was the smallest thing ever, basically just a walk-in closet. It was famous among all the trainers and emergency teachers. After 3.5 years, it was real cramped, but the close quarters helped us grow as a group. Over the years that I was there there was a lot of change in the staff, yet we always became close. I would give a lot to be able to work with them again, maybe not with AEON though.
