Back in the North

A quick walk round the lanes today between showers. It was noticeable just how far behind our countryside is compared to Norfolk and even North Yorkshire - our trees are just starting to bloom - whilst we've been away the bluebells have just come out and we even saw a bedraggled (yellow) poppy emerging in the hedgerows. All the little becks were flowing fast - testament to the continuous rain that Pushka's temporary carers reported.
Still its always nice to be back.
