Seattle Maritime Festival~Center for Wooden Boats

5/11/2014 ~ First of all, Happy Mother's Day!

I do hope that all the mother's today were remembered by their children on this day!

In the South Lake Union Neighborhood today was day 4 activities for the Seattle Maritime Festival held around the Museum of History & Industry and the Center for Wooden Boats ~ in the South Lake Union Neighborhood, Seattle, WA. It was a fun day for riding on tour boats, sailboats, rowboats, as well as arts and crafts for the children and activities. Sound stage set up for story telling and singing sea chanties.

Enjoyed the events for about 4 hours including a 90 minute ride on a tour vessel around the lake and ship canal. A warm and sunny day with an enjoyable cool breeze on occasion, in my rating a 10 for the day!

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, tomorrow back to work, at least for me.
