Today was Mothers Day in America. Lots of people all dressed up out for brunch, and exchanging flowers. All very nice. We started the day with my cousin and her boys at old town Alexandria, a lovely area with beautiful old buildings and quirky shops. We played a while with the boys then left then, to jump on the riverboat to Georgetown, another old area of DC, known for its university and its fancy restaurants and shops. We enjoyed some lunch and some fizz and meandered back in time for Thai takeaway.
