DVD-Day

This is a day of the year I really look foreward to. We set up the tradition years ago after 3 consecutive New Year visits to the cinema to see all the Lord Of The Rings films. The first year we set up a projector and watched them end to end.

The second and third years: all Harry Potters, all Starwars, thereafter we all brought a random selection of DVDs each New Year's Eve.

So to today! Well, for starters, Chippy and I both bought Moulin Rouge! OK great minds think alike! We started with that. Brilliant, zany, hillarious, great music, poignancy. All the makings of a good movie and, yes, I cried!

Once Upon A Time In Mexico
Harry Potter - Half-Blood Prince
Music And Lyrics
Star Trek

Intersperse this with roast pheasant, some of Chippy's wonderful wine, a whiskey or two and a bottle of bubbly and we should see the new year in well.
