Walk On.....
A lazy blip today, but it had to be football related.
The Premiership was an exciting one this season and though Liverpool "had a (slim) chance" to win, it eventually (predictably) fell into Man City's hands.
As a Forest supporter, I am pretty used to the annual disappointments of not being able to get back into the Premiership so it some ways I can sympathise with Liverpool supporters (25yrs since winning the league).
So to ease some of the pain, I have been reading John Robertson's autobiography over the last few evenings. Super Tramp, as he was called, was a key player in Forest's triumph during the late 70's & early 80's or "the Picasso of our game" as Cloughie once said. What Forest achieved back then will never be repeated again, especially with the amount of money and player power in the game nowadays.
But we can all Walk on dream on, can't we?
On the running front I managed 10 miles in an hour and a half, which is my personal best. A week today I will be hoping to do 13miles in the same time (I wish) in the Chester Marathon.
Tuttle Jnr had a super session with his violin today and did very well with his swimming training too.
