Mixed emotions

The day was all about football today.

K's team had got through to a final which kicked off at exactly the same time as the two big games involving Man City and Liverpool. Chris, a lifelong City fan, chose to stay home and watch his team win the League so I took K to watch his team. K was unable to play today due to his hernia op a couple of weeks ago but enjoyed watching the game. It was an excellent game with a very close 5-4 final score to the opposition. Personally (not being biased obviously) I think K's team deserved to win as they had most of the possession, however a couple of dodgy decisions and a lot of luck on the opposition's side meant that they ended with the upper hand.

We then returned home to discover that West Ham had been unable to do Liverpool a massive favour and that City had won the title again.

Never mind - you can't win 'em all!
