Pebbles in Peebles

We had a great bike ride this morning doing the Cademuir circuit. The route is on quiet country roads and takes you around the base of the hill fort of Cademuir. The last section involves a steep climb but you are rewarded with spectacular views across the hills to the Manor Valley. After lunch I went into Edinburgh and met with friends for tea and cake at the National Portrait Gallery. A good day all round. This photo is of a bench in Peebles. I quite like it, especially the way it integrates colourful pebbles.
