Dress Rehearsal

I made Betsy and Al try on their clothes for Wednesday (F's pronouncement day).

I treated myself to an extra hour in bed this morning. Everyone else had a long lie in too. Took Charlie out for just half an hour this morning then Betsy and I flaked out together, it was lovely. Chris and Al went to get the car and do the shopping.

Chris cooked a fantastic lunch and we took Charlie for a really long walk. It was beautifully warm in the park.

When we got home we watched an SMP, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Chris really likes it but though I agree it looked beautiful there's something sort of needy about Ben Stiller that I find uncomfortable to watch. The whole thing felt a bit manipulative almost.

Anyway. Lovely combination of lots of fresh air, lovely food, nice lazing and my fantastic family. Plus a bit of BGT.
