100 Happy Days: #51

Welcome to Santon Manor! Our home for the next 48 hours as Sophie and I go to The cross country day at Badminton Horse trials tomorrow.

This will be my second horse trials after visiting Burghley last year. I sat on a horse once, but I'm not "a rider", and it's obvious when walking round that I don't own a barber jacket, dubarry boots, or one of those waxy wide rimmed hats. But I do love walking the course in the grass and mud, and the general outdoorsy good naturedness of the whole thing.
