Invitation

Every year since we've been here - all 26 of them - we've had a 'garden party' for friends and neighbours.

After the first couple of conventional years the invitation to these parties has rather evolved into a bit of a life form all of itself - seeking ever greater new forms of daftness and nonsense.

This year's party marks a particular event, so I'm going to put a 'tour list' on the back - and I was drafting this (and the latest invitation) this afternoon.
