Another day pottering around in the garden. The last raised bed built (apart the two wee ones that need rebuilt), lined with plastic and with its wee netting support mainly done.

Ellen's moved off the Ninja theme and is back on Harry Potter so today it was a wand. Could she make a wand? Turns out she was fine with a spokeshave so she whittled away at a cherry stick until it was thin and pointy enough. Made a half-hearted go at sanding it and waited, impatiently for first the oil and then the little dot of purple paint on the end to dry. Y'see without something on the end, it's just a stick. The purple represents the magic. And now she wants some glitter on it to make it properly magical.
