J's ruin

Early start today as we had a tasting tour of Plymouth gin. We did the basic tour a couple of years ago when we were last down. This time we are doing the tour where you get to distil your own bottle of gin. Started off with the history of Plymouth gin before going to have a sniff of the main botanicals used in gin.
After that it was a 5 gin tasting to see what your preferred. This gave the guide a good idea of what sort of botanicals and levels we might like in our own gin.
Had a great time and I don't think any of them came out bad. From there it was off for a walk around the shops and some fish and chips in the best cafe in Plymouth.
Came home and while J took the dogs for a walk with A I took holiday dad to the pub for a few beers. Had a great time talking to the locals. Some great characters in the village.
After tea we watched Despicable Me 2 before going to bed. Great day.
