saxifrage
I called in today to my elderly blind relative to plant some sweet pea for her. They have always been her favourite flower and were part of her wedding bouquet. Now the perfume evokes so many memories.
While she lives above the snow line in Edinburgh I've gambled that the harsh frosts have now passed and that the seedlings' root systems are sufficiently developed.
On the pathway up other door this saxifrage plant was bobbing in the wind with its various shades of pink.
