Nature's Fireworks
I know it's cliche, but I couldn't help it.
These flowers were in the garden at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park, which is Vermont's only National Park and which is dedicated to the theme of conservancy. This is ironic given how the benefactors (Billings/Rockefeller) made their fortunes.
(We actually didn't set off fireworks at Lake Ninevah because of the loons and other wildlife.)
