Across the Forth to Arthur's Seat

The light was slightly odd this afternoon in Kirkcaldy, but it was clear enough to take this shot looking across the Forth to Edinburgh and Arthur's Seat.

In my student days, I stayed for about a year under the shadow of Arthur's Seat in student halls. I used to go out for a training run in the area, and at times would simply take a walk while contemplating the latest material I was studying.

So as well as capturing something of the here and now, it also captured some memories for me.
