Relaxing Sunday

K, S and J stayed over after Eurovision and we all a had lie in and a leisurely breakfast together.

K left during the morning and S, J and I drove to Stony and went for a blowy walk round the river and mill path where we spotted some superb pink, girly street art under the bridge (which I nearly blipped) as well as, from a great little hide, a swan on the nest, some moorhen chicks and plenty of cute ducklings. The cows in the field must be used to walkers as they were all lying down next to the path and didn't shift when we walked within a couple of feet. Sweet. My blip is of my friend's daughter towards the end of our walk.

We spent a pleasant hour in a very quiet Costa over lunchtime with a chai latte and cake and then mooched round the local alladin's cave of a gift shop. We came home for more chats on the sofa and a pineapple 'peel, core and slice in one' session. They left at about 4.30pm.

So I've changed all the beds for the second time this weekend, got some washing on and will have a quiet evening before the new week starts.

A most enjoyable weekend.
