Looking up through the wisteria to the morning sun

The wisteria on the front of my cottage is in full throttle - dense, violently scented and possibly rather short-lived this year as the high wind is knocking it about.

Sean, the brilliant stonemason, is due back soon to finish rebuilding and pointing up the newly exposed stone front wall and lime rendering the back, having allowed a number of months for the walls to release some of the moisture trapped in the stonework behind the very hard sand and cement render which was removed in early winter.

The wisteria is not Sean's favourite thing - working around it was really hard when bare-stemmed; in full leaf it will probably be very trying indeed!
