Leaden Sky (2014.127)

Seven hours of meetings. Home to take Emma to her skiing lesson. Dog needed a walk. These clouds determined to demonstrate that my coat is no longer waterproof.

A less than fully optimal day. Still, ordering the vindaloo from the car with the heated seats on and the aircon set to 28 degrees C warmed us up.

This photo was taken from the car park of the Hillend Ski Centre, looking North-East towards Berwick Law and over Cockenzie power station (the chimneys). The power station isn't long for this world, and it seems odd that it will disappear from the landscape soon.
