My first stint as a locum

It isn't a great shot, but I snuck a photo whilst these people were preparing the church for their Sunday service today. I stood in for a local priest, who rushes between 3 parish churches. I had to cover 2 of them which were 30 mins apart. This one has such a beautiful setting on top of a hill, surrounded by paddocks. There were 7 of us today and music was provided by means of a CD. All told, it was a positive, if slightly bewildering experience- For every Church congregation has their own way of doing things "right".
I even managed to slip in a bit about Mother's Day.
