The Cycle

Yesterday, I came across this flower in my backyard. It was fully bloomed and standing tall a week ago. I didn't have a chance to shoot it in all it's beauty. When I saw it yesterday I thought I missed that chance. Then I looked at it a bit longer and realized that now it was really showing off it's greater purpose and stage of life, seeds. Even though it was the end of her life, it was kind of like a mother with all her children around. Happy Mothers Day.
