Cat

We went to the carboot today
And bought a cat.
A very small cat.
And that
was that.

Then we went down the road
To a café for breakfast;
Coffee, bacon, beans and all that.

Now we're home
And my big mistake
is that I sat.

My eyelids are drooping
I just want to sleep.
I do so wish I was that cat.
