Botanical wedding

The forecast was for heavy rain, followed by heavy rain. This caused us some minor trepidation during the week since a couple of friends were getting married in the Botanics on Saturday... Saturday morning came though and although cloudy there was no physical rain so the groom took a gamble and carried on with the ceremony outside.

It was a brilliant day, and after a huge and delicious meal we took a stroll through the gardens as the sun started to go down. There were several hilarious photos of the requisite 'jumping' poses which caused an unfortunate set of kilt mishaps, as well as one lady mistaking 'jump of the bench' for 'fall face first off the bench'. No names mentioned though.
And after much thought I decided maybe I should remember this day by a more sedate photo, where no-one can be embarrassed, and everyone is smiling nicely.
